1 Peter 5:7-10 ~ Mustard Seed Planting

"Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. Discipline yourselves, keep alert. Like a roaring lion your adversary the devil prowls around, looking for someone to devour. Resist him, steadfast in your faith...

. . . . And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, support, strengthen, and establish you." (1 Peter 5: 7-10)

....because I am beyond weary and feel the adversary is continually camped out on my doorstep.  I find myself often questioning why....why....why???  The valley sometimes seems never-ending and I wonder and ponder.....will I ever be out of it?

But I will not be defeated......I may give the impression of a weak & meek target, but don't be fooled.  Never underestimate the quiet ones......there could be the soul of a fighter underneath the illusion of appearances.

So, to the adversary I say........hit me with your best shot.  I serve the God of all grace, and even if I don't emerge from the valley in this temporary life, I will in Eternity.......and I will NEVER lose my ♥Faith♥, I will NEVER lose my ♥Hope♥, and I will NEVER lose my ♥Joy♥!

And in that spirit, I'm off to bake some Pumpkin Pie, Broccoli Casserole  & make some Caramel Popcorn for a cake walk ~~ our annual Homeschool Thanksgiving Feast is scheduled for tomorrow with some of the most amazing ♥friends♥ in the world!  It's gonna be a VERY good day!  : )

The lion is camped out on our doorstep too. You are not alone. Like you, I refuse to give up and give in. I am going to BELIEVE GOD no matter what comes my way. And believe me, there is definitely some STUFF coming my way to challenge that commitment.

Have you been reading my mind!?! I love this post and I am right there with you lately. Not sure why that evil satan has to always test us. He needs to leave us alone because I am so tired of it! I am never going to turn my back on God and I will trust in Him that He will not let anything happen to me. He is my protector!

Praying for you too!

This verse has been my strength through so many trials! With my husband going through his internship to become a Pastor, satan has been hitting hard. But our God is holy and we are His:) Praise God for that!
