Word-of-mouth advertising is the best.....but someone recently asked me if I ever get stressed worrying about making things for people and whether they will like it or not. Yes, yes......I definitely do ~ especially when it's someone I've never met and am creating an order based solely on a description given via a phone conversation?
What if my idea of buttercup yellow and sage green isn't her idea of buttercup yellow and sage green? She specified a red flower on top with leaves, and then a couple on bottom and I tried to choose the flower most like what she described....but what if she doesn't like it? And, what if she doesn't like the font I chose? What if she hates it?!
So.....yes, I stress. Doesn't really do me any good, though.....silly me. =)
Towel/washcloth set for Ashlyn {someone else has excellent taste when choosing a girl's name.....I think it's a sign. Maybe she will like it! ; ) }
And, an almost matching set for her sister, Caitlyn:
What's done is done......here's to hoping they like them! It really does add a little something special to a set of purchased plain towels.....thinking of making my own Ashlyn a set ~ with different graphics, of course. She's going to officially be a very cool teenager next month and I'm thinking a personalized towel set would be fun to take to camp and on church trips ~ or any trip for that matter. Shhhhh....don't tell. It'll be a surprise. =)
Happy Crafty Tuesday.....what are you crafting today?

So cute! I'm totally afraid of my embroidery machine. I've had it a year and used it maybe 5 times. I'm pulling it out today. Thanks for the inspiration! Happy Tuesday! ☺
You should definitely pull it out ~ I'm sometimes afraid of mine, too....esp. on projects like this. If it jams or the design messes up in any way, the product is often ruined ~ getting the stitches out is practically impossible! I always do a test stitch-out on fabric scraps first, and then pray it doesn't get a mind of it's own on the real things and jam up! ;)
Those are so sweet! i need to stop by your Etsy shop more to get inspired :)
Do you happen to embroider Elmo or cookie monster faces?? hint, hint....
Very very pretty! Love them!!
